Our Walking Fleece Show Superintendent has developed a new shows system for this year - Alpaca Sho Pro. This will be a little different from the Alpaca Reg site that you are used to but bare with us. We are going to start adding help videos on youtube on the channel https://www.youtube.com/@royalalpacaproductions2704/videos. Here is where you start on how to create an account - Create an account on alpacashopro.com
If you showed in CABA 2025, AFN or Gold Country 2024 you may already have a farm account and show string already set up for you. AlpacaShoPro Connecting your account to a farm
You still need to create a login for the system. But once done, send and email to Brian Barfield at mail@alpacashopro.com with your login and farm name and he will link your farm if you already have one. From there, you can start to manage your show string. AlpacaShoPro: Entering an alpaca into the system to show
You will be able to select your entire show string and enter all the shows at a click of the button. The Alpacapalooza and Northwest Alpaca Showcase will be the first to use this new system. It will seem a little different at first but it will get easier. One of the main updates is that you will be able to click all the animals that you want to enter into the dual show. We have a video demonstrate Alpaca Sho Pro: Registering for an Event. The current screen will look a little different as ASP is making updates with user testing and feedback. One area is in production where you will select the Get or Produce animal and not the offspring. You will still do the BB3 as per the video but now you will also add your B&O animal in the production area.
Key Registration Considerations
Earl Bird registration ends Sunday, August 31, 2025
Registration closes Sunday, September 21, 2025
Before beginning Registration, you will want to be well versed with the 2025 Show System Handbook which can be read online in PDF format at this link. It is especially important to read this information so that you will conform to all AOA Show requirements.
Next, be sure you have downloaded your pdf Registry Certificates for each alpaca and have uploaded it the your show string. PLEASE: Use the AOA certificate download option for the PDF to upload. DO NOT scan and try to upload a jpeg or PDF of a photo/jpeg. We want all the farms to use the same process as provided by AOA. If you need assistance in downloading your AOA certificates, contact your show superintendent and they will assist you.
All exhibitors are required for presenting a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection [CVI] (commonly called a Health Certificate) for every alpaca entering the venue is required. You MUST obtain this CVI from your Veterinarian no earlier than 30 days before the show ending date and/or your compete travel period. You will keep the original copy when you arrive at the show, and you must provide a photocopy to give to CABA Classic check-in coordinator at check-in. You will not be granted entrance into the show without this form when you arrive!
Your CVI should contain:
Your Name and Address as the originator/consignor
The destination: Yamhill County Fairgrounds, 2070 NE Lafayette Ave, McMinnville, OR 97128
The date that the CVI was issued—no earlier than 30 days before the show date
Each Alpaca’s Microchip ID#, Registration #, Name, Age, Sex, Breed, BVDV Test Type & Result, BVDV Test Date, and BVDV
Test Barcode/Accession Number
If you are transporting Alpacas across state lines to come to the CABA Shows, be sure to be fully informed about interstate transport laws that apply to your travel.
Small Breeder classes are integrated with the the Alpacapalooza Halter Show. A farm qualifies as a Small Breeder if it has no more than 20 AOA registered females at the time of registration for that show.
